Philanthropy
Mental health is something that affects all of us—our brothers, our friends, and our community. At Chi Gamma Epsilon, this isn’t just another cause; it’s something we care about deeply. That’s why we partnered with The Busyhead Project, an organization dedicated to providing real support for people struggling with their mental health.
Why This Matters
Mental health isn’t talked about enough, but it should be. It’s something that affects everyone, whether personally or through friends, family, or classmates. Yet, too many people feel like they have to deal with things alone, afraid to reach out for help or unsure where to turn. Struggles with anxiety, depression, and stress don’t just go away on their own, and ignoring them only makes things harder. At Chi Gamma Epsilon, we’ve seen firsthand how important it is to have open conversations about mental health. Whether it’s a brother dealing with stress from school, a friend facing personal challenges, or someone struggling in silence, we believe that no one should ever feel like they have to go through it alone. Support, understanding, and real resources can make a huge difference.
That’s why we’re committed to this cause—not just in words, but through real action.
What is The Busyhead Project?
The Busyhead Project was founded on a simple but powerful idea: mental health support should be accessible to everyone. This organization, founded by Noah Kahan, directly funds therapy sessions, educational programs, and awareness initiatives, helping people get the help they need without worrying about cost or accessibility. Unlike many charities, The Busyhead Project operates with zero administrative overhead—meaning every dollar raised goes directly toward mental health resources. That’s a big deal. When you donate or support this cause, you’re not funding an organization’s marketing budget or executive salaries; you’re directly impacting someone’s life, whether it’s helping them afford therapy, providing crisis support, or spreading awareness to break the stigma around mental health struggles. We chose to support The Busyhead Project because their mission aligns with everything we stand for.
This isn’t just about fundraising—it’s about making real, meaningful change in the lives of people who need it.
